Convention

The annual California State PTA Convention is held for the transaction of certain organization business and for the instruction, information, and inspiration of the PTA members. This year's State Convention will be held in Long Beach from April 28th to May 1st, 2011.

The convention purposes are to:

• Conduct the annual business of the California State PTA
• Train, inform, and inspire PTA leadership
• Provide delegates the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with other delegates from throughout the state.

More information on the next California State PTA and National PTA conventions can be found on the Peralta District PTA web site at: www.peraltadistrictpta.org. Starting in 2007, registration of delegates for convention will be done on-line via the State PTA web site without the need to go through a council or district at: www.capta.org  After you register on-line, please send a copy of your registration form to the district so that they may send you additional informational materials about the convention and the traditional district dinner.
