September 12th Council Meeting  - Association meeting [7:00 pm]

  • Two copies of
    • Board Roster 2011-2012 (if not submitted previously, or if there are updates)
    • Annual Financial Report 2010-2011
    • 2011-2012 Budget
  • First Turn-In: Audit for period ending June 30, 2011
  • Per Caps ($4.50 per member, minimum 30 members to receive State's "Ready Set Remit" membership award) (Your membership drive does not have to be complete to submit 30 members)
  • Calendar of your PTA events
  • Mission statement and goals (if you have - if not, submit once you've completed)

September 26 - Peralta District Officers Mini Training [6:30-9:00pm]
Training will be held at the Alameda County Office of Education (ACOE). Cost is $5 if paid by 9/21 or $7 at door. Workshops in President, Secretary, Basic Financial, PTAEZ, Historian, Parliamentarian, Membership, Programs, Reflections and Council Officers.

October 10th Council Meeting - Executive Board meeting [7:00 pm]

    • Remittance of a minimum of 15 members to remain in good standing with the State PTA

November 14th
Reflections entries due, Irvington High School Library, 6:00-8:00pm (entries will not be accepted at Fremont Council meeting later this same evening)

November 14th Council Meeting  - Executive Board meeting [7:00 pm]

  • $199 Insurance premium and Workers Compensation Annual Payroll Report for units with less than $1,000 in contractor payments (required for all units even if you have 0 employees)
  • Copy of filed tax return
  • Per caps received since last council meeting

November 15th
Due to the IRS: paper informational tax returns 990/990EZ and Schedule A or e-postcard return 990-N. ALL PTA UNITS, COUNCILS AND DISTRICTS WILL FILE TAX RETURNS. (See Finances section for details.)

November 21st
Last day to submit $199 Insurance checks due to Fremont Council financial secretary

November 21st-22nd
Reflections Judging, Home of Frances Tshudy

November 22nd
Insurance payments now overdue - include $25 late fee with insurance payment after this date ($224 total)

December 1st
